INT. BATHROOM - NIGHT

BRAD a 20 something college student busts into the bathroom and
quickly spins to hold the door closed. He's not quick enough
and MATT managed to get his foot in the door.

                    MATT
          Let me in!

                    BRAD
          No. You don't have to go 'that'
          badly.

                    MATT
          Very funny. Give it back.

                    BRAD
          What?

                    MATT
          Give the phone back!

                    BRAD
          What phone?

Brad stops pushing back on the door and Matt tumbles into
the medium sized bathroom.

                    MATT
          Why must you make my life so
          difficult?

                    BRAD
          It's all cool. It's just good ol
          fashion fun.

                    MATT
          It's good ol fashion theft is what
          it is. Now give me the phone back.

Matt makes a grab for the phone. Brad pulls it away at the last
moment.

                    BRAD
          It's not like your expecting any
          important calls now.

Matt stops, arms drop and gives that look, the yeah

                    MATT
          She could call at any moment. You
          know that right?

                    BRAD
          That's what makes this so much fun.

                    MATT
          I ain't laughin! So give it back.

Matt makes another grab, this time a small brawl style grappling
takes place. Brad still manages to keep the phone just out
of Matt's reach.

                    BRAD
          She's going to call you? You! The
          nerve.. the audacity. The..

                    MATT
          jealous?

Brad freezes but for a single half second giving the thrashing
Matt a solid chance to obtain the phone. Only he fumbles the
grab and bumps the phone. It goes flying, hits a wall,
bounces off the sink and lands square in the TOILET with a
very matter of fact bloop!

  .... shock and silence.

                    MATT
          Brraaaddd!!!

                    BRAD
          Ooops.

                    MATT
          I can't stand this. You idiot you.
          You..

                    BRAD
               (trying to keep from laughing)
          Heh heh I.. ahem

                    MATT
          This is it man this is the last
          straw.

                    BRAD
          I'll buy you a new one.

                    MATT
          That's not..

Ring ring.

Both boys freeze. Matt's eyes bug out a bit and after a moment
Brad's stunned expression gives way to laughter.

                    MATT
          Oh my god.

                    BRAD
          Well what da ya know.. She DID call
          you!

                    MATT
          Oh my god.

Ring ring.

                    BRAD
          So, you gonna answer it? Or not?

                    MATT
          Oh my god.

The Matt, still frozen in shock, begins to reach. Then pulls back
with a cringe.

                    MATT(CONT.)
          I...

Every ring makes him cringe even more and on every attempt
to answer the water logged phone he retracts a bit more much
the way a   lizard will walk on the hottest sands of the
desert at high noon.

                    MATT(CONT.)
          I can't believe this.

                    BRAD
          I'm gettin the camera.

                    MATT
          Brad!

                    BRAD
          Be back in a sec sweetie.
