Guitar Amp and Radio

gamp

A 9 Volt battery, a LM386 (microchip), 2 capacitors and a mini speaker are
all you need. Well a guitar might help. Jeff from work mentioned this
to me and I decided to visit Radio Shack while I was picking up my dinner. I knew it
would be pretty straight forward so I thought I'd whip one up.
I enjoyed making it because I knew what I was doing.
And I knew it would work.

It was a nice pick me up because my code hadn't really been working
right tonight. Actually, I've had a lot of emotion on my mind lately and
I find that doing something like this 'and succeeding' makes me feel better.

Lately, I've been doing a lot of things that have not been succeeding.
So thanks Jeff.

It also picks up radio because my wires are unprotected.
I have video to prove this.

I think I can adapt it for the Record player. It needs to be modified
from an over amped crazy electric guitar circuit to a nicer rounder
normal amplifier one might want to use to listen to records with.

I wanted to make something like this. But I probably wouldn't have used
the LM386 or the capacitors. *shrug I thought it looked strange when I
read the schematic. No fly back diode? I was baffled until I saw their
use of a capacitor there. Nice.
