Little Text Experiment

Let's conduct a little experiment.

"I'm going to write" (Aston Martin) "one paragraph of my own" (Daniel al-Autistiqui) "text and then go"( jacorre ) "out onto the internet"(Jeff Fecke) "and find those exact words."( LYCOS ) "I will then pull from"( nataliemyrwold ) "the different sources"(differentsourcesofelectricity) "and quote the entire thing"(Sharyn Layson) "After this process,"(Chu Suk) "who owns the work?"(COPYRIGHT) "Is it mine?"(securitycatalyst)"Or is it the sum of the"(Graeme S. Cooper )"sources I draw from?"(gamefiend)

Does it matter if I pick my sources carefully?
And arrange the order into a meta story through linking?
Is my path through the other work something of substance?

Or are the parts themselves irrelevant so long as they are my ideas?
And if so, what are the ideas?
Are they whole sentences?
What about creating words themselves?
Or never writing with whole sentences.

Try this yourself and be surprised at the places
you wind up when searching for your own words.
