What the… Lizard!?

My mother always told me you find interesting
things when you clean. I think this guy takes the cake.
It officially tops the strange things I've found while
cleaning my room list.
For the record, I've found cats and large slugs being
eaten by mites. But this.... this is out there...
I'll have to tell my land lord. I'm trying not to keep
pets. But large creatures are constantly finding
their way in!
okay....
Moving on....
To earlier today...
It must have been meditation.
Because my mind was quiet for once.
It didn't feel happy.
It just felt like I was
slouching there in a semi-zoned out fashion.
After the first few hours spent discussing
ROV software and other designs I went out to the
community field to throw my boomerang.
I wasn't having the best of luck and I felt
more like I was killing time rather than enjoying
the sport of it. Besides, I didn't like the fact
my shoes were getting soaked out on that field.
I had already asked city hall about the Field Closed
Signs. Turns out they are a plus because they keep
the organized sports off the fields.
But I can still
go out there as just one guy with a boomerang.
After a few tosses I began to amble along to
the more secluded fields in which I found a nice
place to sit down. I set down heavily as I noticed
the green paint peeling off
the wooden benches. I laid back on the bars and
let the sun and wind fill my consciousness.
And in this emotionally dull state...
that was all I thought about.
Hardly, a thought would wander before
being ignored so that I may exclude all the pain
and rejection of these days and times.
My feelings were tilted towards the annoyances
of a malfunctioning social lifestyle
but in a relaxed fashion.
The fashion of someone
who as grown tired of the game and is willing
to let the dust settle on the arguments storming
on in the brain.
Because that is the simplest way to live.
