As I awoke. And I did so many times... I started
thinking about the month of October. This past october
can be summarized in a variety of ways. thus far I've
been counting the things I've done regarding what I post
to the site.
Constructive Posts 64% Regular Posts 25% NULL Posts 9% script : *** comic : ****** program : ***** movie : **** compile : * Not quite posted.... Thermistor Project Learning Lisp SAML Mathematics of Plot Screen Sharing with the G5 Open Voting
But that's only a small portion of the ideas
that very generated during that time. In fact,
concluding October 2008 still leaves me with
the sense that I didn't do all I could. If I take
a glass half empty approach I could mention that the
number of new ideas generated is far larger.
There were in fact 10 more script ideas.
No work done on the Film Fest Video.
More program ideas.
More footage that was shot but left unedited.
Posting one idea per night wouldn't capture all of it
even if I had done it all. I think new ideas need to be
noted and organized. Right now I do that with files
and folders. It's just that some new ideas are so attractive
I'd like to work on them right away or they are new but I need
to perform a certain amount of work to keep them around.
I would say from the data I collected that October was
a successful month. Comparing it to September and especially August when
I didn't have time nor a net connection for anything. October
is showing that I'm getting back into the swing of what I had
earlier this year. And with only a few months left in the year
that's probably a good thing.
If I took note of new people I met and how
I may be able to work with them on future projects
I could say that's part of moving forward.
The list of those individuals whom I can see team work developing
isn't that long and I don't see them very often. Perhaps, keeping
them in mind a bit more would help. However, since the split I
lost that data here. Perhaps, it would be best to make mention of
such things for future reference.
Note: The Chris World Manifest was written before the split. Hence, it's relevance is in question to the current state of the site.
