To Ms. Holt:

July 11th, 2008

Hello Ms. Holt,

I was just telling someone tonight about how I always appreciated
the guidance and caring that I felt when I attended SSR all those years
way way back in high school.
I do not know if this will reach you but I sure hope it does.
(It took a bit of tracking to find an e mail that might work)

My name is Chris Stones and I was probably a fairly quiet fellow
whom was always reading Issac Asimov books on the far corner of he South Gym.
I also read quite a lot of Chicken Soup for the Soul.

Anyway, I was telling my friend about how at first it seemed so much of
an inconvenience to have to walk all the way down to the gym to have SSR.
And for all 4 years of high school! non the less.

But I told her how after coming for a while it really seemed like you cared
and helped all the kids and I believe you have made a big impact on a lot
of lives. After a while, it got easier to walk. In fact, I felt I was walking the extra
distance for something important. I didn't mind it. I didn't mind that I had to rush
back to get to my next class on time. (They were opposite ends of the campus.)

It was worth it because someone cared enough to make it so.

I'd like to take this time to personally thank you Ms. Holt. I do believe it's one
of the few stories I like to tell from my time in High School.

Anyway, if your curious about what I do and what I've become and in fact still
don't recall who I am. Perhaps, this will jog your memory.
