Leaving Chris World?

Why not bring back a souvenir?

Peg the Times

As I awoke from my afternoon nap I stared up at the ceiling as I often do. The clouds were clearing while I allowed the thoughts to roam freely across the mental landscape that is my mind. What were they on? The theme was wonderful and bright little memories though remember with a bit of sorrow and reminiscence.

I rolled over.

I could see blue sky coming through as the sun licked the tree tops began to show hints that the day was long for due. I couldn't help but to feel a bit regretful or mournful as I walked about earlier in the day. Though music helped me to quicken my pace and ignore deeper frazzled emotions.

I couldn't help but to feel the invisible iron will of the world concluding the 5 year college experience for me. The funny thing about stages of our lives is that they can often be summed up with a handful of memories and events that peg those times. No one could say I didn't have my fair share of happenings.

But I can always wonder.
And I do...

Wonder about the what ifs when I recall the events that have transpired in this city between the forest and the sea. Friends I once made are now scattered through out the world or perhaps no longer my friends. The people you meant in a remote college are sadly mostly transient in your life. Nothing drives this point home more than the months left before May. Though words of a kind of nature are exchanged, "...Hey I'm going to miss you. Your graduating.... Naw, I'll still be in the town..." Don't often ring the truth.

In fact, they are usually the few hopeful words any passing friends can exclaim before the days have fully set. And the halls of HSU become quiet once more.

Notes

Though.. if you have been keeping track.. you may have a much
clearer picture of the transpired events.

The sun was showing its age.

Always remember.. "Classical music, was once modern rock"

It's not like they really become quiet but its sort of true and very poetic so the sentence stays.

Can you make a jet turbine engine into a speaker using
piezoelectric elements?

For a lurk I turned on as many applications as I could....
I was expecting a more action packed show. It got sort of boring
as soon as the RAM ran out and everything was swapping memory with
the harddisk.

Since Work is 17.95
I get the feeling of a 31.03 hour week without the
joy of completing my own endeavors. Will I even get paid
for these 17 hours of labor? It's all very fuzzy until I
see some numbers in a bank account and some buttons to push to
officially clock in.
