Ideas Lost

Getting better acquainted with the node editor.

I was once concerned about the number of ideas I wasn't able to record in the day. It's still a problem but I just can't do anything about it until I have more time in general. That's not to bad because come summer I should have a lot of time to think and study and produce everything that I've every dreamt of.

I look forward to the days when I can make the substance of my life come alive. I only worry over getting all my plans laid because I keep forgetting that I wanted to do this or that. The issue wasn't that I wasn't writing those things down. It was that I've had far far too many thoughts and ideas to produce.

The lists would grow so long that any sane person would be dissuaded from sorting through the mess. The tragedy is that ideas don't resurface until long after old coding skills have grown stale. So, I'm constantly having to pick up where I left off and rebuild that opening code intuition.

However, in recent years I began to frame my programming work within a larger context. I would write about the programs and what I was thinking and working on in order for my future self to read through again and pick up where I left off.

This is why the old pdfs exist. They were the first attempt at picking up where I left off. Today... I must continue this tradition but within a central medium.

A journal that can hold and organize all the creativity so that I may recall the story line and the context. The jump start good self documentation offers is immensely beneficial when efficiency is your primary aim.

It's not a delusion... it's a business plan.

I still have no idea how anyone can even begin to believe
financial proforma projections.
